On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 and Thursday, January 21, 2021, we will be administering our second school-wide iReady diagnostic of the 2020 – 2021 school year. On Wednesday, all students should go to their ELA Google Classrooms and log into the meet at 8:30 AM for live instructions and test administration by the ELA teacher. On Thursday, all students should go to their Math Google Classrooms and log into the meet at 8:30 AM for live instructions and test administration by the math teacher.

MS 129 parents are invited to attend a Virtual Town Hall Meeting this evening, January 15, 2021 at 5:30 PM. Topics to be discussed: i-Ready Diagnostic , Consent to COVID testing, Specialized High School Admissions Test, the High School Application Process, and more!

Remote learning continues for all middle school students until further notice. On Monday, January 4, 2021, Group A follows their remote schedule and Group B follows their in-person schedule remotely. Click on "Class Schedules/School Information" tab and see "Blended Learning Calendar" for additional cohort dates.

School buildings will need to close if NYC meets the following criteria: The percent of positive tests in New York City is equal to or greater than 3% using a 7-day rolling average. If we cross this threshold, school buildings will close, and all students will transition to full-time remote learning for a minimum of two weeks.

Students make sure to log your attendance daily. The attendance link will be posted in all of your Google Classrooms. Make sure you get credit for attendance! Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance.  A missed school day is a lost opportunity for students to learn.

All parents, children and staff must complete the online health screening form https://healthscreening.schools.nyc/ to enter a DOE building. Health Screening must be completed each day you enter the building.

Please join the Title I/PAC Elections via Zoom on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 5:00 PM. Available positions are: Title I Chairperson, Alternate Chairperson, and three PAC members.

Ms. Rosario will be hosting a parent workshop for 8th grade parents to discuss the 2020-2021 high school admissions and application process, and provide an overview of the MySchools account. Three sessions will be offered (one in Spanish and two in English). Parents only need to attend one session.
